Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's Celebratory Dance as Kabir Singh Joins Rs 100 Crore Club is Too Cute
Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh has crossed Rs100 crore and has definitely been under pressure for its violent approach towards women and ingrained toxic masculinity. Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter shows support with this goofy dance and emotional message
Shahid Kapoor’s latest release, Kabir Singh, has been open to mixed reviews and has been facing the heat from critics for its misogyny and violence, however, his fans have stood by him and have praised him through and through for his stellar performance. His biggest fan however, has got to be his younger brother, Ishaan Khatter. Even before the release of the Sandeep Vanga directorial, Ishaan was a huge support for his brother and stood by him during promotions. Now, Ishaan has penned an emotional message for his elder brother.
Ishaan took to Instagram to share photos of his brother and wrote an emotional message to accompany it. “As happy as can be for my big brother today who’s always been a shining example of a human being for me. Not a doubt in the world that you deserve the smashing success but it continues to baffle me how you were able to play one of the most complex, lost and damaged characters with such perfection while returning home to being the most centered, loving and responsible family man I know,” he wrote in the first half of the post.
He went on to thank his brother for being the perfect role model for him and praised his outstanding performance in Kabir Singh. “Thank you for showing me what it means to be a responsible son, father, husband and brother always AND for knocking me out with your performance in and as #KabirSingh.”
Kabir Singh has now joined the Rs199 crore club and Shahid celebrated its success with wife, Mira Rajput and Ishaan Khatter. Kabir Singh is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy, which narrates the story of a hot-headed surgeon who loses control when his lover leaves him. It has been slammed unanimously by critics for its violent approach towards women and ingrained toxic masculinity.
