Shah Rukh Khan, who is yet to announce any new film project, has something else in store for his fans. The superstar commenced shooting for Ted Talks Season 2 in Mumbai in May 2019. As per a report by an entertainment portal, SRK’s show is expected to premiere in less than two months, on his birthday, that is, 2nd November. Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch has been created in partnership with non-profit organisation TED, which is devoted to "ideas worth spreading". It is a TV series that aims to showcase new thinking from some of the most brilliant minds in India and beyond. The series is in Hindi and is hosted by SRK. The first season had more than 30 talks.

These included talks like The Gift Of Words by renowned writer Javed Akhtar, How To Create A Life Of Service by public health specialist Dr Ramindar Dhillon, How My Challenges Made Me Who I Am by famous chef and author Vikas Khanna, and many others.

The new season is also expected to have talks by famous people from different walks of life, who will share their stories of failures and successes to inspire the audience. Viewers will be able to enjoy Shah Rukh Khan’s wit and humour on television as they wait for him to sign a new film. The actor was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, released in December 2018, which did not perform well at the box office. The superstar has been away from acting since then, spending time with his family and working on other projects as a producer. There have been many speculations and rumours about his next film but the actor has denied all the reports, saying he would make an announcement when he actually signs a film.
