Karan Johar’s film Kesari is doing remarkably well at the box office and a twitter handle pointed out how Shah Rukh Khan’s film Zero did not do as well. Karan Johar liked this tweet which set the internet on fire. Karan was immediately called out for this and Karan tweeted hence,

"Aaj twitter pe thodi gadbad ho gayi but baaki sab #firstclass hai," tweeted Karan referring to the song 'First Class' that just appeared today from his upcoming film Kalank.

Shah Rukh Khan took to twitter to respond in his usual tongue-in-cheek way.

"I hate clarifications on SM. @karanjohar is technologically challenged but has other good qualities like his taste in clothes!?Just like Life, twitter doesn’t come with instructions, so mistakes r natural....& also he has fat fingers. Go easy all, Make Lov not’s more fun"

Interestingly Shah Rukh Khan's following number went from 79 to 78 and users assumed that he had unfollowed Karan Johar. But it was not the case as SRK is still following Karan on Twitter and vice versa.

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan share a multiple decade friendship which has seen many ups and downs but the two have been friends throughout. From Karan Johar's initial work as assistant director in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Shah Rukh Khan had noticed Karan's talent and had always appreciated his feedback. Karan wrote so in his book An Unsuitable Boy about his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan and how Shah Rukh Khan had been surprised that Karan had helped Aditya write the scene where Raj goes to apologize for loving Simran. The rest, of course, is history.

Shah Rukh Khan has had a very curious history with social media and recently Karan Johar appeared on Arbaaz Khan's show to talk about social media as well. As they say about most powerful things that have come humanity's way - it's a blessing and a curse!
