Superstars like Shah Rukh Khan undeniably have followers all over the world. A couple of years ago, two videos of King Khan’s diehard Nigerian fans went viral on the internet, which saw them singing along to his famous hits including Kal Ho Naa Ho’s title track and Dil To Pagal Hai. In recent news, his Nigerian fans are once again in the news for singing another one of SRK’s popular tracks. Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a video of one of the Raees star’s admirer from Kenya lip-syncing a number from his blockbuster 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. And it’s the cutest thing ever!

Can’t believe I designed this look in the 90s ... Those jeans, #legwarmer tee, bullet belt and a red shirt thrown over. The hand painted jeans were my favourite. #Gaurikhandesigns has come a long way! Major throwback.. @iamsrk @KajolAtUN pic.twitter.com/qRpZ59yuDT— Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) September 12, 2019
Just a couple of hours before Anupam’s tweet, Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, tweeted a throwback picture of her husband and Kajol from the film Baazigar. She wrote alongside the picture, “Can’t believe I designed this look in the 90s. Those jeans, legwarmer tee, bullet belt and a red shirt thrown over. The hand painted jeans were my favourite. Gauri khan designs has come a long way! Major throwback.” Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is directed by Aditya Chopra. It centres on the story of two characters Raj and Simran, who meet during a trip across Europe and then fall in love.
