The general elections in India began on April 11. It is one of the largest democratic exercises in the world with several parties and candidates in the fray. The month long elections is currently seeing polling held in different phases in different states as people go to elect the next Prime Minister of the country. Bollywood may claim to not be too political but there are quite a few stars who are contesting Lok Sabha elections. Some of them have been quite active on social media too. However, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Akshay Kumar won’t be voting in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections alongwith Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan, Sunny Leone and Jacqueline Fernandez.
