Shah Rukh Khan’s next film is being waited on with baited breath by everyone and here’s what we know so far

Shah Rukh Khan fans and media alike has been waiting for his next film. The superstar initially said he would announce the next film in June. Zero had failed at the box office and had also been unable to impress the critics. There have been many whispers about Shah Rukh Khan going into hiding and not giving any interviews.

However, he was recently at the 9th Beijing International Film festival where he said, “I've not decided anything. I think I will take a decision for the next film that I am going to do by June. I am just listening to films and I want to spend some time just listening and working on them. So by June, I should take a call what film I want to do.”

Shah Rukh Khan was also in Dubai recently at a promotional event for a local jewelry brand where he met and greeted the fans there were no media interviews at this point in time though the star happily clicked pictures with fans. However, according to a report by SpotboyE, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly said, “I have no film with me right now. I am not working on any film. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time I am just not feeling like it... My heart doesn't allow me to... I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books. Even my kids are in their college stage... my daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. So I just want to spend more time with my family.”

Shah Rukh Khan has always been very close to his family and his youngest son, AbRam is often seen with Shah Rukh as he waves to his fans outside his home Mannat.

Shah Rukh Khan has also been very active in supporting his IPL, team Kolkata Knight Riders which he co-owns with the couple Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla. He is often seen supporting them and cheering for them in their matches.

Shah Rukh Khan also turned producer for Badla, the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer mystery thriller that was the remake of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest (2016).

Shah Rukh Khan was very supportive of Salman Khan’s film Bharat’s trailer and he expressed his love for Bhai on Twitter.

Let’s hope King Khan is back with a bang real soon with his own film.
