Yet another honour and acclaim for Shah Rukh Khan! The Bollywood megastar has now been invited by none other than famous chat show host David Letterman to be a part of his show. With no confirmations so far, even the airing date has not been revealed yet but news has it that the shoot for the same will be held in New York City in front of a live audience on May 16, 2019.
After retiring from his hugely popular late night show, the comedian-chat show host has been hosting a chat show on Netflix which is called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. According to a report in DNA, King Khan is likely to talk about his next production venture, Bard Of Blood which will be streamed exclusively on Netflix later this year. Based on Bilal Siddiqui's book, the show features Emnran Hashmi in the lead.
There hasn't been any confirmation from Netflix or Shah Rukh about the actor's appearance on the show yet but social media is already buzzing with excitement as SRK is going to be the first Indian celebrity to feature in the show that has in the past featured personalities like Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai and Jerry Seinfeld.
David Letterman has hosted late night television talk shows for 33 years. Earlier he has hosted Late Night with David Letterman on NBC and Late Show with David Letterman on CBS.
Shah Rukh was last seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero where he played a vertically-challenged man. But unfortunately, the film tanked at the box office. King Khan is on a sabbatical and has said that he would be taking a backseat to focus on his family and other things.
