The Hindi-dubbed remake of 'The Lion King’ was touted as the most anticipated Bollywood releases this year and particularly because of the star-studded casting of the real-life father-son duo, Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan. The film hit cinema screens on Wednesday and has undoubtedly had a roaring start at the box office already. While it hits right at the nostalgic aspect for ‘The Lion King’ fans, the work of SRK and Aryan in lending their voices to Mufasa and Simmba, respectively, is being greatly lauded. With regard to this, the superstar did not waste any time in thanking his co-stars in a Twitter post.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, the ‘Raees’ actor thanked his friends and co-actors for their devotion towards the Hindi remake of the Disney original. His tweet read, "So happy to hear that so many are enjoying Lion King. A special thanks to my co-actors and friends for bringing this film to life in Hindi. @imsanjaimishra @shreyastalpade1 and the amazing @AshishVid and Asrani sahib. Thanks for making me and Aryan sound good!"

Shreya Talpade was quick to respond to Shah Rukh's post. She wrote, "You always sound good @iamsrk. I’m just glad we were able to complement your #Mufasa with our little parts. And yes a big thank you for the love for #LionKing people! @disneyfilmindia @DisneyIndia #TheLionKing."

Earlier, SRK thanked his fans for the appreciation Aryan has received for his part. In the sweetest post, Shah Rukh penned a thank you note on behalf of Aryan. He wrote, "Young Lions don’t tweet so on behalf of Simba #AryanKhan I want to thank u all for appreciating his effort.”

The film that is a remake of the 1994 animated classic collected a total of INR11.06 crore on its opening day. We know the film will continue to roar at the box office for some time!
