Diehard fans always make sure to go the extra mile for actors, be it on their birthday, wedding or any ordinary day. From the likes of megastar Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, their followers have made sure to leave no stone unturned when it comes to cheering them on. In a rather surprising development, a reportedly hardcore fan of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s registered a company nearly three years ago in the UK with their family members listed as directors. Woah! The anonymous fan set up the UK-based firm Bros Brother International Ltd on December 28, 2016. Thirteen directors were listed including Shah Rukh, Salman’s father Salim Khan, his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and his Being Human foundation.
It was further reported that the Shah Rukh’s address on the company profile was of his residence, Mannat, in Mumbai. Salim’s address was also of his Mumbai house. The company had listed another director by the name of Anjali Sharma.
It was learnt that Anjali’s address was of a mail box service provider in London. Nice name suggestion though! Anjali was the name of one of the characters in Karan Johar’s film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which had Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles.
Paul Myers, lead support of the BBC Investigation Initiative, who came across Bros Brothers International during his online research on companies in the UK, “It is someone’s deranged idea of a joke. Registering all Indian actors as directors of this almost fictional company.” The stars and their managers were approached for a statement in the matter. Business manager of Salman, Jordy Patel, said that the actor and his family or Being Human Foundation were never associated with the company. “We are not even aware of this. Salman Khan and his family have nothing to do with Bros Brothers International,” he said.
