Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in his feature film, Zero and has since not announced any project. He also lent his voice for the Hindi remake of Disney’s The Lion King, together with his son Aryan Khan. It appears that the Zero actor is currently focused on making content for the web only. As of late, he has been announcing one show after another which includes Class of 83 (film) and Bard Of Blood. Now, Shah Rukh Khan has announced his third web venture which goes by the name of Betaal. Just like the previous two, this one is also in association with Netflix.

Betaal is a horror series writted and also directed by Patrick Graham, in association with Nikhil Mahajan. It is co-produced by Gaurav Verma, Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix. Reportedly the series features Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra.

Alongside Betaal, SRK’s other project the Class Of 83 is directed by Atul Sabharwal and the film tells the story of an upright policeman-turned-police instructor whose students struggle with the intricacies of honour, morals and dedication towards their nation. The film also stars Bobby Deol who was last seen in Race 3 and had garnered attention for his transformation.

Aside from this, SRK has also co-produced Bard Of Blood which stars Emraan Hashmi.

The actor recently released the look of the upcoming show on Instagram. The show is set to premiere on September 27 and is a seven-episode show which is based on Bilal Siddiqi's bestselling book which is titled with the same name. The series will also feature actors including Vineet Kumar Singh, Shobhita Dhulipala, Kirti Kulhari, Gaurav Verma and Rajit Kapoor amongst others.

Shah Rukh Khan was recently working alongside his son Aryan Khan who made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi version of The Lion King. Bother father and son lent their voices for Mufasa and Simba respectively and has been doing rather well at the box office.
