Sara Ali Khan is one of the most talked about celebrities in Bollywood right now. Belonging to the new crop of stars in the industry, Saramade her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath late last year. Around the same time, she starred in Rohit Shetty’s film Simmba, opposite Bollywood's heartthrob Ranveer Singh. Apart from landing big projects, Sara has also been very open about her personal life and she’s often spotted talking about her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. She also often shares snippets and photos of spending time with them.
In a recent interview, Sara spoke about how her mother has inspired her in so many ways. She said, “She’s my go-to for career advice and everything. She’s been a balanced actor, she’s never let fame get to her. My favourite thing about her is that she knows how to juggle work and life. When she would return home from a shoot, she’d still make time for us. She’s trying to teach me to balance things too, which is very important. She has always given me the truth – the good and bad equally.” Saif and Amrita called it quits in 2004 after 13 years of marriage. Along with Sara, the two also shared a son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Sara has been one of the most promising actresses ever since she started her career last year. She’s been creating quite a buzz around Bollywood with many filmmakers keen to collaborating with her. On the work front, Sara is currently busy shooting the remake of 90s comedy, Coolie No 1. She will be sharing screen space with superstar Varun Dhawan and working under the direction of his father, famous filmmaker, David Dhawan.
