In a short amount of time, Sara Ali Khan has made a name for herself in Bollywood. The actor made her debut late last year and now, has already signed films with some of the biggest directors in the industry, that too with some of the most sought after leading men of Bollywood. She has already worked with Abhishek Kapoor and Rohit Shetty opposite Ranveer Singh, and now, she is gearing up to work with Imtiaz Ali in Love Aaj Kal 2 with Kartin Aryan. Moreover, she is also working with David Dhawan and his son, Varun Dhawan in the remake of Coolie No. 1.
Speaking of Coolie No.1, Sara revealed that she would be recreating one of Karisma Kapoor's song from the original film. She said, "It is going to be difficult because the film, the songs and everything related to that film is iconic. But if we take pressure, then we will definitely mess up. What makes Govinda ji and Karisma ji so iconic was an element of spontaneity and bindasspan with every take, every shot. They had so much fun while shooting and that translates on screen. So these are big shoes to fill." The actress added that she is trying to not take any stress about it.
On working with some of the best directors of the industry, Sara stated, " I don’t think I am in the position yet to be deciding as much as I am in the position to kind of get and then decide. People come to me with a project." She continued that she was thankful to the directors who came to her with their scripts. She feels that she needs to have a strong reason for choosing a film. However, she still believes that being a new artist in Bollywood, she has a lot to learn before she can make those kind of choices.
