Sanjay Dutt visits his children in Dubai before resuming cancer treatment
The actor boarded a flight to Dubai with his wife
Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanyata Dutt boarded a flight to Dubai yesterday so that the actor could see his children before he resumes his cancer treatment in Mumbai.
Maanyata uploaded some Instagram stories from their flight which featured a selfie of the duo in their business class seats, along with a picture of a cup of coffee with Sanjay’s face printed onto the foam.
Maanayata captioned the pictures with, “Enroute life” and some heart eyed emojis in reference to the coffee.
The pair jetted off yesterday evening, and will have spent today with their twin Shahraan and Iqra, who both go to school in Dubai.
In the meantime, Sanjay is to return to Mumbai where he will receive further treatment for his cancer. A source who spoke to the Times of India report said “Sanjay is doing well, and is expected back home in just a week or 10 days. He wanted to see his twins, who are still in Dubai. They’re attending their classes from there”.
Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in August, and put out a statement stating, “I am taking a short break from work for medical treatment”. Earlier this month, Dutt was spotted at the Yash Raj film studios, where he was said to be finishing up final scenes for his upcoming film Shamshera. Fans were surprised to see Dutt back to work, after news of the 61-year-old’s illness.
Shamshera was due to be released on July 31, however it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. A new release date is yet to be announced.
