Sanjay Dutt was spotted joining his sister and politician Priya Dutt during her campaign trail ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Priya is currently campaigning as a Congress party candidate from Mumbai North Central. She has been in the political world for several years, first being elected to the 14th Lok Sabha in 2005. The Dutt family has a history of being involved with politics. Sanjay and Priya's father Sunil Dutt was an actor and filmmaker for many years but he also made a big name for himself in politics as a Member of Parliament for Mumbai North West until his death in 2005. He was then preceded by his own daughter Priya.
Sanjay was seen standing with Priya and waving to onlookers as she was campaigning.
Sanjay seems to be extremely supportive of his sister in her political endeavours. Priya is campaigning for a victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
On the film front, Sanjay most recently made a special appearance in the Abhishek Varman-directed and Karan Johar-produced Kalank, as the character of Balraj Chaudhry. He is set to next appear in the film Sadak 2, which will be a sequel to the original Sanjay and Pooja Bhatt-starrer Sadak. The sequel will also feature Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
