Sanjay Dutt is admitted to hospital after suffering from chest pains
Dutt was taken to the Lilavati hospital after complaining of chest discomfort
The 61 year old actor was taken to the Lilavati hospital yesterday evening after complaining of chest pains.
Dutt was admitted with fluctuating oxygen saturation levels, and was subsequently tested for Covid-19 with a rapid antigen test. He tested negative for the virus, but remains to be under observation.
He was admitted to a Corona-free ICU ward where doctors are further testing his health to find the source of his chest pains. The hospital’s chief operating officer Dr V Ravishankar stated, "He is stable”, suggesting he may be out of the hospital soon. Other hospital authorities have stated, “His Covid-19 report is negative but he's still there for some time, just for medical observation. He is perfectly fine."
Dutt took to twitter to update fans on his condition. He wrote, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings”.
