6 years after Salman Khan made his fans go crazy about his Radhe avatar in Tere Naam, filmmaker Satish Kaushik is planning to make a sequel to it. It was only recently that the reports and of course, rumors of a sequel, Tere Naam 2, started doing the rounds, and fans and followers are super excited for the film. When asked about the sequel to Tere Naam, Satish Kaushik candidly stated: "I know the audience is waiting for it, I have something on my mind, but I haven't sounded out Salman yet. For now, it's all about Kaagaz."

Released in 2003, Tere Naam tells the tale of star-crossed lovers Radhe played by Salman Khan and Nirjara played by Bhumika Chawla. The film concludes with an unfortunate ending as Nirjara commits suicide, consequently Radhe renounces the world and returns to the ashram where he was being treated for his worsening mental health. While the filmmaker is yet to approach Salman for Tere Naam 2, he has collaborated with the actor for Kaagaz. Salman is also producing Satish Kaushik's upcoming film. "The film is very close to my heart and I am grateful to Salman for supporting my vision. After Tere Naam, I couldn't make another film with him, I am glad that we have collaborated on this one," stated Satish Kaushik. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is keeping busy in the gym and working up his fitness levels as he is gearing up to get into shape for Dabangg 3. The next schedule of the film is set to go on floors soon. Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudheva, and is scheduled to hit the screens on December 20.
