Salman Khan to be Chief Guest at Saudi Film Festival in the Company of Hollywood Star
Salman Khan is being honoured at the Saudi Film Festival which is being held for the first time in the country. Read on to find out what he will do in the kingdom
Salman Khan will be the chief guest at the Saudi Film Festival which will be held in Dhahran, in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia will be hosting their first season of the Saudi Film Festival in Dhahran. As part of Sharqiah Season in the Eastern Province, the fifth Saudi Film Festival will also have Academy Award-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. on the panel.
The celebrations are being organised by the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in partnership with King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra). There will be a special segment which has been organised in honour of Salman Khan called "An Evening with the Stars". Here, the actor will talk about his Bollywood career that has spanned over a couple of decades and his journey as both, a film star and a producer.
Salman had earlier tweeted out a video message announcing his arrival. “Hello Saudi Arabia, assalamu alaikum,” he said in the video. “See you at Ithra on the 24th of March, InshaAllah.”
Academy Award-winner Gooding Jr will take the stage to talk about his 30 years of journey in Hollywood. Gooding is best known for his performance in Jerry Maguire, A Few Good Men and Men of Honor. He has played more than 85 roles in his career. He won the prestigious Academy Award for his role as Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire.
