Salman Khan’s age has been a matter of debate as he, quite like other actors his age, loves to work with youngers actresses. Recently, his co-star in Bharat, Disha Patani said they might never be able to work together again primarily because of the age difference. But looks like bhai isn’t bothered. Reacting to this jibe from Disha Patani, Salman Khan has said that it doesn't matter to him at all. In a report in Bollywood Hungama, when Salman Khan was asked about Disha’s age difference statement, he said he had no qualms working with a younger actress.
Salman added that he is doing a film with a 17-year-old now. It seems like Salman Khan was referring to his Inshallah co-star Alia Bhatt who might be playing his love interest in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Reportedly, their age difference will be addressed in the film as Alia herself is 28 years junior. The age issue has been bogging down Salman for many years now as most of his contemporaries are not doing films with him.
Nevertheless Salman Khan is all thrilled to work with Alia as, in a recent interview, he was seen praising Alia's exceptional work in films. He also called Alia a storehouse of talent. "See how she’s turned it around, from a student to now, it’s beautiful! And no one can take credit for her growth except Alia herself. Jo bhi bole humne usko banaya hai, is not to be believed. It’s Alia who has honed her talent," he told Pune Mirror.
He added, "A godown of talent will be meeting with a bundle of talent (Laughs) Actually there’s no talent here."
