The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer has Bharat has already raked in INR167.60 crore at the box office. While credit must go Ali Abbas Zafar’s direction and the star-studded cast’s stellar acting, what more importantly won the hearts of fans was the special screening held by the Partner co-stars this week. The film –  which went on to become Salman’s biggest opening to date – was shown to a bevy of families who witnessed the 1947 Partition on June 12.

Salman took to Twitter to share the most adorable picture of himself sitting alongside an elderly woman on a wheelchair and we cannot get over this cutest gesture. Forget us, even the superstar’s fans were left awestruck!

“Special screening of #Bharat for the real families who experienced the events of 1947 and the partition. Honoured to meet all of them! Salute to the real #Bharat families,” he captioned the post. Singing praises for the Dabangg actor, one user wrote, “A man with a golden heart.” Another added, “So true! Salman bhai is an amazing human.” Instead of hosting a lavish affair attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, we love how the Bharat team brought together a few veterans who saw Partition through and through. Soon after the screening, both Salman and Katrina also interacted with the elderly, listening to their heart-wrenching experiences.

This is not the first time Salman has managed to pull off something so touching. He previously hosted an exclusive film viewing for his disabled fans during the promotions of Jai Ho. On another occasion, Salman invited hearing impaired individuals for a special screening ahead of the release of his super hit project, Kick.

Earlier, members of the India cricket team such as MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Kedhar Jadhav and KL Rahul among others watched the film ahead of their ICC World Cup match against New Zealand in UK.
