Salman Khan’s Dabangg series have been nothing short of blockbusters. Directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan, the first Dabangg film starred Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha and was released in 2010. The film was a blockbuster hit and spurred a much awaited sequel starring Salman and Sonakshi again. Dabangg 2 released in 2012 and was also a super blockbuster, earning about 250 crores at the box office.
Recently Salman Khan announced that he and his team (consisting of Prabhu Deva and Arbaaz Khan) have started shooting for Dabangg 3.
In his classic Chulbul Pandey style, Salman had a pair of sunglasses stuck to the back of his neck. He posted a picture with Prabhu Deva who will be directing this film. “We’re going to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar to shoot for Dabangg 3,” Salman had announced via Instagram. Referring to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar, Salman said that that was “where our grandfather was posted when he was in the police force.”
Salman also recently posted a picturesque shot on the ghats of Narmada as they shot for Dabangg 3.
Here Salman is seen dancing to a song, also in classic Chulbul Pandey style, with a group of background dancers.
Salman Khan will be seen in the cinemas much before Dabangg 3 (which might see a 2019 release), in the upcoming film Bharat. In Bharat, Salman is to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, whom he frequently collaborates with. Salman stars opposite Katrina Kaif in Bharat and the film is a remake of the Korean film Ode to My Father. He is also to be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Inshallah. In Inshallah, Salman Khan will co-star with Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt.
