Do you want to rent the Mumbai apartment of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Mumbai? Well, now there's a golden opportunity to do so. The couple has just declared that they are giving out their new Mumbai apartment in Bandra on rent.
A few years ago, Saif and Kareena bought themselves a spacious 15,000-odd square feet home in Bandra, where they have often been photographed, on their balcony. Right now, the rent of the apartment according to market conditions, is a couple of lakhs of rupees per month. The exact amount would be around three lakhs INR per month excluding a five lakh security deposit.
Technically Saif has two such flats to give away on rent. Even five years after their marriage the couple continues to live on the 10th floor of Fortune Heights in a four BHK because he recently clarified to a newspaper that he is not too keen to move into his spacious new home.
Saif Ali Khan told an Indian newspaper that, “I might not move into that place, I may just put it on rent.” Saif further justified to the newspaper why he doesn't want to change homes right now.
Their iconic balcony appearance
“I have apartments on two floors —the second and the 10th — in this building. I am very happy here. I may just put my fancy new home on rent. Honestly, I may just get a bit overwhelmed there,’’ he says. Adding, “There are just three of us — Kareena, Taimur and me. We do not need a floor each. We will be looking for each other. Our current home is nice. I love the space upstairs (10th floor) as well as this place on the second floor, which has my office and Taimur’s play area. How much space does one really need? Everything here is sorted. We have our individual spaces, yet there is something warm and nice here. My books, my music, and all the space Bebo needs is here. Of course, if we move there, then I will put these two apartments on rent. Whether it is these two apartments or that huge one, it is the same thing,’’ he told the newspaper.
