Saif Ali Khan’s Laal Kaptaan Second Trailer Released: Here’s a Look at Chapter Two - The Chase
Saif Ali Khan’s Laal Kaptaan, a revenge thriller directed by Navdeep Singh, will hit the screens on 18th October. Watch the trailer below.
The makers of upcoming revenge thriller, Laal Kaptaan, have released a second trailer of the film, titled Chapter Two: The Chase. The film, directed by Navdeep Singh (known for NH 10), has Saif Ali Khan playing the lead role of a bounty hunter Nagu Sadhu and promises the audience a journey “full of drama, revenge and deceit.” The producers, Eros International and Aanad L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions, shared the new trailer with the following caption, “Fierce, furious and fearless. Only blood can quench #LaalKaptaan's thirst for revenge. The vengeful CHASE has now begun! The makers of #Raanjhanaa and #Tumbbad bring to you the official trailer of #LaalKaptaan - Chapter Two - The Chase.”
The trailer shows Nagu Sadhu embarking on a new assignment and also seeking vengeance, while recalling his past and revealing how his wounds cannot be seen. The film also stars Manav Vij, Zoya Hussain, Simone Singh and Saurabh Sachdeva. Sonakshi Sinha also has a special appearance while Deepak Dobriyal, who played Pappiji in hit film Tanu Weds Manu, will appear in the role of a tracker in Laal Kaptaan. Deepak can be seen in a new avatar in the second trailer, as a traveller with two dogs. Speaking about his character earlier, Deepak had said,
”My character plays an important role in the film. Without him, no one will be able to find anyone. My character gives direction to the people. If anyone has to find any place or want to find information about someone, my character will help that person. It was a different experience working for this film. I have given my best. Hope audiences love it.”
Saif also has a unique look in the film, with long hair and a beard, which has been compared by fans to Johnny Depp’s look in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Laal Kaptaan is slated to release on 18th October 2019.
