Buzz is that the actor will be making a film on his father, the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The actor revealed, “It’ll be an English film. Not Hollywood, but filmed as much in England as in India and set in the ’60s when my father was is his 20s. It is a story of a Prince who loses his father on his eleventh birthday, loses his title in 1971, loses an eye just when his cricketing career is blossoming in England, yet goes on to become the youngest Indian Test captain and marries a Bollywood heartthrob. Given the drama and history, the journey from back-and-white to colour, it can be a film like Chariots of Fire. Earlier, we had tried the documentary format but it is not easy to encapsulate your feelings for someone everyone looks up to, into two hours.”

Speaking of him as a husband, Saif and Kareena’s secret to a successful marriage is giving each other the space they need and celebrate the differences. The actor also confessed that though he is married to Kareena, he will never force his sister Soha to marry Kunal. He said “It’s ridiculous to tell people to get married. Once you do, the stress begins and divorces are common. If there’s any doubt, don’t do it. But I’m thankful to my mother for pushing me to get married. She told me Kareena was the right choice as she has her own life.”
