Saif Ali Khan Intervenes to Bail Daughter Sara Ali Khan Out of Trouble With the Court

Sara Ali Khan was dragged to court but doting daddy Saif Ali Khan came to her rescue!

Saif Ali Khan has intervened to sort out the matter out of court after director Abhishek Kapoor decided to approach the Bombay High court saying that Sara Ali Khan had given her locked dates to Karan Johar's production house despite signing a contract with them. The new controversy came as  Kedarnath faced uncertainty over legal tussles between Kapoor and Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment (the film’s producer). Kapoor’s Guy In The Sky Pictures was originally making the movie with KriArj Entertainment, but they parted ways. Later, Ronnie Screwvala and his creative production house RSVP joined hands with Kapoor. This is their second collaboration after Kai Po Che!

Sara and her father Saif Ali Khan had visited Kapoor’s office on Wednesday in a bid to resolve the issue. People familiar with this matter said that Sara could not reject the offer of a lead role when Karan Johar offer her for Simmba since there was complete uncertainty surrounding Kedarnath because of the legal battles between Kapoor and Arora. Now both parties had decided settle the matter outside the court.

Now reports say that Screwvalla and Kapoor on one side while Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty on the other side have started talking to resolve the crisis giving hope that the case which was to be argued in the Mumbai High Court on Tuesday may not proceed. Kapoor had alleged that Sara earlier gave a nod to be available on all the dates throughout the shoot for Kedarnath, which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput. But when the makers informed her that the shooting of Kedarnath will go till May to 5 July, her agent said that she won’t be available in June as she’ll start filming for Ranveer Singh’s Simmba.
