Zindagi Tamasha has been both directed and produced by Sarmad Khoosat. Based on the story of a Lahore based naatkhwan Rahat Khwaja whose confession about reality changed his life altogether. The film is a reflection of the social behaviors of the conservative Pakistani society. Written by a young writer Nirmal Bano, this film is about the Lahoris made by a Lahori. Shot in the interior parts of Lahore, this film does not use the old city of Lahore as a backdrop like many filmmakers have done in the past. Instead, it has shown the real life of the people in Lahore.
