Rishi Kapoor -- last seen on screen in comedy film Rajma Chawal -- has been sharing throwback moments on his social media pages. His latest post is a monochrome picture of the veteran actor’s father Raj Kapoor, one of the most influential actors and filmmakers in Hindi cinema, who is seen standing next to legendary actress Nargis. The two can be seen enjoying Coke in this rare photograph. Rishi Kapoor captioned the photo as, “Another generation with Coca Cola!”
Raj Kapoor and Nargis were a popular onscreen couple in Hindi cinema. They worked together in 16 films, out of which six were produced by Raj Kapoor. These included superhit films of the ‘40s and ‘50s, like Aag, Andaz, Shree 420, Chori Chori, Andaz, Awaara and various others.
Apart from their photograph, Rishi Kapoor had earlier also shared the "Original Coca-Cola advertisement", a monochrome childhood photo featuring him, producer Boney Kapoor, actor Anil Kapoor, Aditya Kapoor and Tutu Sharma.
Rishi Kapoor recently returned to India from New York, where he was receiving treatment for cancer and was accompanied by his wife Neetu Kapoor. The actor will next be seen in The Body, co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala. The remake of a 2012 Spanish movie of the same name, the mystery thriller film has been helmed by Malayalam film director Jeethu Joseph, marking his Bollywood debut as a director. Emraan -- last seen as the protagonist of Netflix spy thriller series Bard of Blood -- recently shared a teaser of the film on social media. The teaser has managed to create a good buzz about the upcoming movie, ahead of its trailer release this Friday. Emraan and Rishi are working together for the first time in this film, which will hit the screens in a couple of weeks, on 13th December 2019.
