Rishi Kapoor Faces the Camera For The First Time Post Treatment

Rishi Kapoor is one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood. The veteran star belongs to Raj Kapoor's family as made his acting debut back in 1973 with Bobby, with his now wife Neetu Singh. Throughout the span of his career, he starred in numerous films such as Khel Khel Mein, Sargam, Karz, Naseeb and many others, then went on to become big hits. However, earlier last year, the actor had moved to New York to get treatment as he was diagnosed with cancer. But last month, Rishi returned to India post his cancer treatment and a new photo has surfaced to mark his first after being cured.

Photographer Avinash Gowariker shared a photo of the veteran actor where he is seen smiling for the camera. He captioned the photo of Rishi and wrote, "Post pack up shot with the legend Rishi Kapoor, who is back in action after a small break. Can't explain how fantastic it felt to see Chintuji through the lens radiating his vintage energy in full flow." Upon returning from India, Rishi also had tweeted, "Back home. 11 months and 11 days. Thank you all."

Apart from family members, several Bollywood celebrities have also visited the veteran actor during his stay in New York. This includes Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre, Arjun Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Anupam Kher, among others. On the work front, Rishi will be coming back to screen very soon. While he was last seen in Jhootha Kahin Ka, he will be next seen in The Body, a crime thriller that stars Bard of Blood actors, Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala which will release end of this year. Soon after, he will be seen opposite Sanjay Dutt in a comedy film titled Pandit Galli Ka Ali under the direction of Sanjay Puran Singh.
