The actor recently celebrated his one year wedding anniversary with Deepika Padukone this month, for which they headed to Amritsar to seek blessings for their big day. As always, whenever Ranveer Singh steps out he never ceases to leave heads turning and always leaves fans swooning. The same was the case when Ranveer Singh stepped out on the day of his anniversary celebrations. For the big day, Ranveer Singh opted for a floral printed look by his favourite couturier, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Ranveer Singh was clad in a silk kurta which was adorned with the signature Sabyasachi floral print. The kurta was teamed with matching straight pants and then coupled with a contrasting paisley print waist coat which was finished off with gold buttons. Ranveer Singh, who was styled for the occasion by celebrity stylist Nitasha Guarav, rounded off his look with a lavender coloured fabric tied over his head and wore two small hoop earrings to complete the look. It goes without saying that Ranveer Singh, together with his wife, Deepika Padukone, made a stunning statement and left us in awe.
Rani Mukerji in 'Mardaani 2'
Now, while scrolling through our news feeds, we happened to come across pictures of the ethereal Rani Mukerji who was clad in a Sanyasachi ensemble for the promotions of her upcoming film, Mardaani 2. She too was wearing the same floral printed silk kurta with a matching churidaar which made us wonder whether it was the same outfit donned by Ranveer Singh a week earlier.
Rani Mukerji teamed her floral Sabyasachi ensemble with a sheer dupatta which was adorned with a pretty border and embroidered floral motifs all over it. The Mardaani 2 actress teamed her desi attire with a pair of traditional gold kola puri chapals and and minimal accessories. The actress had her hair parted in the middle and to round off her look opted for minimal makeup sans her eyes, which were dipped heavily in kohl. With a brown lip and subtle dew, Rani Mukerji made a casual yet chic statement.
Having looked at both the ensembles, we think that the two looks are rather similar. Who do you think wore the look better? Tell us in the comments below!
