Ranveer Singh is riding a high as his back to back films recently have done incredibly well with fans and at the box office. The diverse and eccentric actor was most recently seen on the big screen in both Simmba and Gully Boy, two totally different flicks that he still managed to pull off with his signature flair. Now dedicated Ranveer fans are eagerly awaiting to see their favourite star act again when the upcoming biopic ’83 releases in April next year. Ranveer will be starring in the movie and portraying the real life cricketer and legendary sportsman Kapil Dev. Ever the dedicated performer when it comes to his acting, Ranveer recently travelled to spend some time with Kapil in order to learn more about the athlete in preparation for his role.

Recently, the two respective stars were spotted at the Mumbai airport together, looking as if though they have already become fast yet firm friends. Kapil and Ranveer strolled comfortably in front of the cameras. Ranveer, who is known for his out of the box and wacky fashion sense, had a noticeably muted style at the airport while walking alongside Kapil. The actor stuck to ripped jeans a T-shirt for his look while he accessorized with a pair of edgy sunglasses and a bright neon fanny pack slinged over his shoulders.

Kapil and Ranveer looked super comfortable with one another and seeing the two in one place has definitely added to the increasing hype for the upcoming flick.

’83 is an upcoming biographical sports drama film based on the victory of the Indian national cricket team during the 1983 Cricket World Cup. The landmark win marked a historic win for the Indian team over the West Indies national cricket team and remains a key moment in cricket history. The flick is being directed by Kabir Khan of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame.
