Ranbir Kapoor Secretly Follows Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone
Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that he is on Instagram under an alias account
Social media is a great tool for celebrities, politicians and other influencers. However, many choose to stay away from it due to personal reasons. Likewise, one of Bollywood's biggest heartthrobs, Ranbir Kapoor, has also kept himself away from Instagram, Twitter and even Facebook. But it has now been confirmed that not only is the 36-year-old actor secretly on Instagram, he also follows his ex Katrina Kaif (who is rumored to be dating Vicky Kaushal) and Deepika Padukone. And Deepika's now husband, Ranveer Singh.
The star was recently at an event where he revealed that he follows Alia Bhatt - his lady love on Instagram, along with Katrina, Deepika and Ranveer. Katrina herself stated on Arbaaz Khan's online chat show, Pinch, that Ranbir follows her on Instagram, but he's on the social media app under a secret account. The actress was asked if she had a separate account to stalk celebrities, she said, "No, no. I know Ranbir has. And Ranbir, by the way, was the person who showed me how Instagram works."
Late last year, Alia, while appearing on Koffee with Karan opposite, also confessed that Ranbir was on Instagram under an alias and follows a lot of celebrities. While stalking an ex might be awkward for many, it sure isn't for the Tamasha actor. Ranbir is still on good terms with Deepika and Katrina. He also hangs out with Deepika's husband, Ranveer and two even shared the Koffee with Karan couch, back in 2017.
Ranbir isn't the only one from the Kapoor clan to have a secret account on Instagram. His cousin and Bollywood superstar, Kareena Kapoor Khan also admitted to being present on the social media app under a secret name. She also said that she checks it religiously to stalk celebrities and see what they're wearing. Plus, she added that it's a source of gossip for her. Same Bebo, same!
While the younger lot from the Kapoor family has tried to remain secretive on social media, Ranbir's parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor seem to be pros. Neetu is often seen sharing photos of her family and friends from the industry, while Rishi never shies away from expressing his opinions on Twitter - which sometimes results in a lot of trolling.
On the work front, Ranbir is currently filming Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra with none other than his girlfriend, Alia. Rumours about their relationship started last year when the two were seen attending Sonam Kapoor's wedding together, however, they have never openly admitted to dating each other.
