However, Deepika’s commitment to Luv Ranjan’s next project has never been officially announced and these speculations have been causing an online controversy since the last couple of months. Many fans of the actress have been dismayed by the news that Deepika is planning to work with a director who has previously been accused of sexual misconduct during the #MeToo movement. However, in an interview, the actress said she would not work with anyone who had been accused of sexual harrassment. Recently, she also spoke about the movement, saying, “You should also ask some cricketers about the #MeToo movement. I don’t see that happening. But every actor is asked about the #MeToo movement. It’s not something that’s happening only in the film industry.”
