Rajnikanth Gets Mobbed By Fans As He Arrives at Chennai Airport

India's arguably biggest superstar, Rajnikanth doesn't really need an introduction. The megastar is adored by millions of fans globally. A glimpse of how his fans are dedicated to him was shown when the actor returned to Chennai and was spotted at the airport. The actor was returning from a spiritual break, as reported by Indian media. Rajnikanth was mobbed by fans at the airport who waited to see a glimpse of him.
The Robot star who apart from his acting is also known for his modest, gentle and down to earth nature, despite being all tired after a long flight didn’t mind posing for some pictures with his fans as he exchanged smiles with people and media present at the airport.

Soon after his return, a Twitter hashtag was trending, #WelcomeBackThalaiva. Many took to Twitter to share the pictures and pictures from the airport.
On the work front, Rajnikanth will be seen in Darbar. The film is all set to release on Pongal 2020. Thai Pongal, the harvest festival dedicated to the Sun God, is a four-day event in the Tamil calendar that is usually celebrated in January. In the second look of the film, Rajnikanth is seen pressing against the iron bar, defying the laws of physics and normal human aging, and Rajni ji is playing the cop so the fierceness is a bonus.
The film also stars Nayanthara, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar and the music is given by Anirudh Ravichander. The cinematographer is Santosh Sivan and Sreedhar Prasad is editing the film. Rajnikanth, the mega star, who has appeared in over 160 films, will be seen in Darbar on Pongal 2020. He was seen in Petta in 2019 and in 2.0 in 2018.
