Indian actor R Madhavan who is considered an Instagram hottie shared a picture on social media on Wednesday, prompting a fan to propose him. The talented actor who is shooting for his film “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” received a comment on his picture stating, “Is it wrong that I am 18 and wanna get married to you?” In response, Madhavan said, “ha ha God bless you, you will find someone way more worthier.”

Apart from the female fan, Madhavan’s friends and colleagues also showered fawning comments on his picture. “Getting older never seemed so good!!!!!And much excited for your venture,” wrote actor Shalini Pandey. Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra also wrote, “Have you been using fair and handsome?”

“Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” will be Madhavan’s directorial debut. Madhavan is also writing and producing the biopic. He will be seen playing the lead role as scientist Nambi Narayanan. It is based on on the life of Narayanan, who was in-charge of the cryogenics division at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) but was later arrested in 1994 on the charges of espionage. However, the charges against him were dismissed by by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in 1996, and the Supreme Court declared him not guilty in 1998.

According to recent sources, the movie is already ahead of schedule. Major portions been shot in three different languages – Hindi, English and Tamil. It has been shot across Russia, France, Scotland, Princeton and India. Madhavan has received four Filmfare Awards and an award from the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards along with recognition and nominations from other organisations. He has been described as one of the few actors in India who is able to achieve pan-Indian appeal, having appeared in films from seven different languages. Madhavan began his acting career with television guest appearances, including a role on the Zee TV prime-time soap opera "Banegi Apni Baat" in 1996.
