We couldn't be more proud of our girl at the Oscars, when she was introduced as a veteran to audiences across the globe with over 50 Bollywood films to her credit! Desi girl Priyanka Chopra gave away the award for 'Best Editing', sharing the stage with well-known Hollywood actor Liev Schreiber. The diva looked stunning at the 88th Adademy Awards, as she sashayed down the red carpet in an elegant creation designed by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
The dress, chosen from the designer's Spring/Summer 2016 collection, fitted Priyanka like a glove, with the structured cage bustier mermaid dress in white silk tulle embellished with 3D shimmering flowers. Designer Zuhair Murad was earlier also patronised by PC's Bajirao Mastani co-star Deepika Padukone, when she wore a red lace gown at one of the Indian award ceremonies.
PC's transparent lace white gown may have grabbed a lot of eyeballs, but the real glitter was dripping from the gorgeous actress's her ears and fingers - the sparkles that she chose to wear costing a total of just under $8 million!
She wore Lorraine Schwartz jewels including 50 carat diamond front back earrings that cost an incredible $3.2 million. On her hands, she sported a 22 carat diamond ring worth $3.4 million alongside a 10 carat diamond pinky ring worth $850,000 as well as an 8 carat diamond bypass ring costing $300,000!
Completing the look with diamond drop earrings and a clutch, PC kept the rest of her look simple with hair neatly tied in a low ponytail and minimal makeup.
The actress shared her look at her Instagram page and posted, "Last Minute touches.. Feeling like a Princess in a Chariot."
