Prince William and Kate Middleton were scheduled to return to Islamabad from Lahore but could not due to the severe weather. Here are the details.

Prince William and Kate Middleton had to see some hard times last night as their airplane the RAF voyager could not land Islamabad due to the severity of the weather. Due to the turbulence and the lighting issue their aircraft had to twice abandon the landing and return to Lahore. The pilot had to circle around the capital for an hour but could not land. He tried to land at two different airports but could not succeed.  According to the royal correspondent for the Daily mail UK Rebecca English, Prince William stayed calm during the issue and came down the aircraft to check if everyone was doing fine as many members of the entourage were traveling with them.

Rebecca English tweeted just a while ago that the aircraft has finally landed in Islamabad. Kate Middleton dressed in a white cotton outfit with black embroidery by Pakistani designer Elan as they left Lahore.  The royal couple and the other members of the entourage stayed in a hotel in Lahore due to the emergency. Today is the last day of the royals in Pakistan as they fly back to London today.

Prince William and Kate Middleton had an eventful day in Lahore. Due to their humility and kindness, the royal couple has earned many fans among the Pakistanis. They visited National Cricket Academy, SOS Village, Badshahi Mosque, and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. They made sure that they mingled with the common people wherever they went. Kate Middleton’s fashion choices have also been a highlight of this tour.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s tour to Pakistan has been one of their most successful royal visits. The international media has fully covered this tour and appreciated the royals for all the reasons. They traveled alone to Pakistan without their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, The royal couple has left today to be home before the weekend with their children.  Prince William also mentioned his son Prince George as he visited the Margalla National Park in Islamabad
