Prince William and Kate Middleton have been in Pakistan only for four days but their trip has been creating the stirs of love and happiness already. The royal couple has been appreciated all over the world for their warmth and humility. Kate Middleton, in particular, has become an instant favorite among the masses for her intelligent fashion choices. The Duchess has preferred wearing the traditional Pakistani dress shalwar kameez maintaining her natural elegant style. Kate Middleton has sported Pakistani designer Maheen Khan’s designs on three occasions. She wore a blue silk shalwar kameez on her trip to the Girls School and Margalla Hills. The design reminded people of Kate Middleton’s mother-in-law Princess Diana.

Prince William and Kate Middleton changed into much formal ensembles when they went to attend an inter-faith harmony meeting in Badshahi Mosque, Lahore. Prince William wore a suit while Kate Middleton dressed in a sea green silk shalwar kameez with embroidered details on the neck, sleeves, and the borders of the dupatta. Kate Middleton kept her head covered throughout the trip with a plain dupatta in the same color.

Designer Maheen Khan, in her interview with Dawn Images, mentioned that she stocked her clothes at O’nitta in London where the Duchess’ stylists spotted Maheen Khan’s designs. They picked up the clothes and showed to Kate Middleton who instantly liked the designs. When the team reached out to Maheen Khan for bespoke designs, the designer had to sign a non-disclosure bond which meant she could not disclose any details until she was allowed. According to Maheen Khan, Kate Middleton has a classy sense of style and hence she designed along those lines. The designs were instantly popular among the people and Maheen Khan received many orders for the design.
