The year 2019 was indeed a big one for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they left the world shocked with their announcement of stepping down as senior members of the royal family. The royal family was embroiled in controversy as the Queen was not too pleased with their decision for obvious reasons. However, once she finally agreed to let Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lead a normal, financially independent life; the couple headed to Canada where they have been transitioning into their new life.
A joint statement on their official Instagram account read, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.” And with that being said, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle jetted off to the West Coast where it appears they seem to be settling in well. It also appears that Harry is adjusting well to his new life as his wife’s healthy habits are rubbing off on him.
According to a report on an entertainment portal, Meghan Markle, who is health conscious, is starting to rub off on Prince Harry who has started adopting the same healthy habits. Besides enjoying a healthier plant-based diet of organic foods, the 35-year-old is also taking a keen interest in cooking. This move is a part of the "normal life" that Harry and Meghan are working towards for Archie which includes cooking their own meals.
Talking about how they are also making nature a priority, a source revealed, "Being able to hike with friends, Archie, and their dogs in Canada is a simple pleasure that they love. Their time on Vancouver Island over the holidays helped to confirm that they were making the right decision to step down from royal responsibilities."
Harry and Meghan are all set to head back to the United Kingdom for the first time in 2020 as they wind up their final round of royal engagements, before kick starting a new life in North America.
