Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: Is the Sussex couple Prioritizing Friends over Family?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be prioritizing friends over family
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are probably one of the most discussed couples of the world right now. Although Prince Harry is (apparently) not the future king of England, fans within and outside Britain have always been a huge fan of this red-haired prince. Despite having a disturbed teenage, Prince Harry emerged to be the People’s Prince just like his late mother Princess Diana. Be it, sneaking popcorns from a little girl in the stadium or winning the dare with Barrack Obama by convincing the Queen to be a part of it, Prince Harry has always been relatable for the common public.
As a young man, he always wore his heart on the sleeve and was rumored to have his share of fun here and there. However, when he found the love of his life in American actress Meghan Markle he took no time to propose her and get married in a fairytale wedding. The couple became the center of everyone’s attention despite a few controversies about Meghan Markle’s behavior.
The couple recently celebrated parenthood after having their first child Archie. Ironically, even the baby’s birth was lined with controversies. First, they decided not to have a traditional photo outside the hospital. For many days, the fans kept speculating that Baby Sussex had already been delivered but they were not letting anyone know about it. However, the wait was soon over and little Archie became the bundle of joy for his parents. Yes, majorly the parents!
Reportedly, Prince William and Kate Middleton who happened to be Archie’s uncle and aunt were not allowed to visit him straight away. They could do it only after a week and even then not with their children who ‘could not wait to meet their baby cousin.’ Kate Middleton left Frogmore Cottage in tears. The reasons given were Archie’s health and hygiene concerns. But, were they being selective about these concerns?
Recently, Meghan Markle’s best friend the celebrity stylist Jessica Mulroney posted a picture on Instagram where her five-year-old daughter ‘Ivy’ was playing in Daniel Departmental Store which is just ten minutes drive from Frogmore Cottage. This created a frenzy among royal fans.
She also posted a picture with her husband in Cliveden House Hotel in Berkshire near London.
Considering the timing of this visit, it is well expected that they are there to see Baby Archie. While the blood relations were not allowed to meet the baby right away (some have still not met) Jessica Mulroney’s visit is raising brows. Or maybe, it is all about priorities. Friends over the family for today!
