Prince George Celebrates His Sixth Birthday in a Soccer Themed Party

Prince George is third in line to the throne after his father Prince William and grandfather Prince Charles. The little prince recently celebrated his sixth birthday in a Soccer-themed party at home Kensington Palace.

Prince George was born to Prince William and Kate Middleton on July 22nd, 2013. His birth was celebrated across Britain because he is third in line to the Britsh throne; right after his father Prince William and Grandfather Prince Charles. He made his first public appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for Trooping of the Colours. Prince George is the reason why his parents broke the royal protocol according to which no two heirs to the throne can travel in the same airplane. He accompanied his parents to New Zealand and Australia on a three weeks trip.

A Soccer themed birthday party

Prince George recently celebrated his sixth birthday. To embark on the event, Kensington Palace released three photos of the happy young boy on their official Instagram. These pictures were taken by Prince George’s mother Kate Middleton who also happens to be the Patron of The Royal Photographic Society. On his sixth birthday, his parents decided to take Prince George and his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to a two weeks trip to the Caribbean Island Mustique. They are not expected to return to the public eye until September 2019. However, Kate Middleton threw Prince George a soccer-themed party at home after school. This party was attended by Prince George’s classmates and friends.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are sports fans

Prince George and Prince Charlotte love sports like their parents. In the official portraits released on his birthday, Prince George could be seen wearing the team jersey for England’s national soccer team. Princess Charlotte also loves soccer and was seen playing with a football on the grounds when they went to cheer dad Prince William and Uncle Prince Harry for a polo match. This has probably come from Prince William who is the President of the Foot Ball Association. Prince George also loves tennis like his mother Kate Middleton who is the Patron for All England Lawn Tennis Club. He also took some lessons from his favorite Tennis player Roger Federer in the private court at Kensington Palace.
Prince George is famous already

According to father Prince William, Prince George does not know yet about his different position in England. He does not have an idea that he is the future king of Britain. Prince George and his siblings aren’t seen much in the public eye. Even on his first tour with his parents to New Zealand and Australia, Prince George was seen only twice in the public eye. In August 2015, Kensington Palace issued a statement where they expressed their wish for global media not to take any unauthorized photos of Prince George. Prince George is also famous for his meeting with the American President Barrack Obama in 2016 when he visited Buckingham Palace. Prince George’s picture with President Obama made rounds on the internet.

The little price stayed past his bedtime and met the President of The United States of America in a bathrobe. President Obama joked about this meeting later saying, ‘Prince George showed up to our meeting in his bathrobe... a clear breach of protocol.’ Prince George is a student of the private Tomas’s School of Battersea. Since the Royal family has no surnames, Prince George was named George Cambridge in school.
