A fan of the Bond series, Prince Charles was given an up close and personal look at some of the classic cars being used in the movie. He also witnessed an actual scene being filmed. He also met director Cary Joji Fukunaga and cast members including Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Lashana Lynch, whose role hasn't been disclosed. Prince Charles also greeted apprentices of the British Film Institute who are working on the set of the Bond film.

The photos of the prince’s visit was shared by the Royal Family’s Instagram account.

“The Prince of Wales today visited the James Bond set at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, the home of the 25th Bond film,” said the post on the Royal Family’s official account. “The Prince was shown some of the cars used in the film by Daniel Craig, who plays 007, and visited ‘M’s office with actor Ralph Fiennes and director Cary Joji Fukunaga.”

“His roryal highness was able to watch a scene being filmed on screens alongside actors Naomie Harris and Lashana Lynch. He also met ‏apprentices from the BFI who are working on the film.”

More videos were uploaded by the Clarence House’s Instagram account. “The new James Bond film, the 25th in the series, is due for release next year,” it said.

“On display were two Aston Martin cars, that will feature in the film,” said another post.

After facing a number of delays, the movie has been slated to hit the theaters in 2020.

“The BFI Film Academy runs 52 academies across the UK, giving young people the opportunity to learn about filmmaking. The Prince has been Patron of the BFI for 40 years and most recently visited the institute’s centre at London’s Southbank,” it added.

Netizens reacted hence to the visit by saying “Oh look at that! Prince Charles was hanging out with Daniel Craig a.k.a James Bond. Will there be articles claiming he's being "too Hollywood"?? NOPE. Remember folks... That's only reserved for Meghan.”Others looked at the visit in a more tongue and cheek way and responded with some classic humor. Some wanted Prince Charles to not meet actors at all! Some also called for a James Bond and a John Wick Movie. Check out the reactions here.
