Indian golfing sensation Rayhan Thomas is yet to turn professional, but his achievements as an amateur have even impressed seasoned superstars such as Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson. After leading India’s golf quartet at last year’s Asian Games, 19-year-old Rayhan became the first amateur player to win a tournament on the MENA Tour. Semi-finalist in the 2017 US Junior Amateurs and tied second at the 2018 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, Thomas will start at Oklahoma State University, top rated for college golf, this fall. Currently, No.16 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (second highest in Asia), the hard work and dedication are paying off for Rayhan Thomas.
HIS DREAM: “Win a major championship in a long career as a professional. No, scratch that. Win all four major championships as a professional.”
