Police urge Rhea Chakraborty to come forward and join the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case

Rhea Chakarborty is allegedly missing from her usual residence.

After the death of the late Sushant Singh Rajput, an FIR was filed against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty by Rajput’s father, KK Singh. The complaint falls under many sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) and are said to have played a major role in the actor’s tragic suicide. These claims include accusations of abetment to suicide, fraud and cheating along with six others.

While it is known that Sushant Singh Rajput struggled with various mental health issues such as depression and hypomania, claims have been made that Rhea Chakraborty further encouraged the demise of his mental state, causing the late actor to feel more depressed.

Soon after the FIR was filed, four Bihar police officials took a statement from Rhea in Mumbai however, her whereabouts are now  unknown as she has allegedly been missing from her Mumbai residence ever since the statement to the police was made.

When speaking to Sputnik News, a police officer in the Indian state of Bihar said, “We have not been able to locate her yet, but we are trying to. Chakraborty must join the investigation if she has nothing to hide. We will be issuing a look out circular for her."

In an attempt to find out more information, police made a visit to one of Rhea Chakraborty’s homes in Santa Cruz, but she was not there.

Rhea was last seen in public on June 18 when she recorded her statement to the Mumbai Police. With both Bihar Police and Mumbai Police being involved, they both claim to have no intel on her whereabouts or movements. They urge her to come forward as she is a key person in this investigation.
