The Narcotics Control Bureau is investigating the supposed drug syndicate in Bollywood

The deputy director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) who was part of the team that interrogated Deepika Padukone in the Bollywood drugs case has tested positive for COVID-19. KPS Malhotra was present at the NCB guest house in Mumbai as part of the team that were looking at the actress’ links to the drug cartel.

According to reports, no links were found between drug dealers and Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

The four were questioned extensively last week and had similar answers, according to sources. Deepika, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh – claimed that ‘hash isn’t a drug’, and two have claimed that the NCB isn’t familiar with ‘Bollywood English’.

However, Republic TV report claimed, “Phase 3 of the NCB probe is set to bring ‘bigger names’ behind the scenes and under the radar at present. The officers are likely to call the ‘more influential names’ and the process will last for a month.”
