New information suggest that Sanjay Dutt’s cancer is worse than we think
Dutt is allegedly suffering from stage 4 lung cancer
This week has been particularly tough for actor Sanjay Dutt, as news broke yesterday that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Dutt was taken to the Lilavati Hospital on Saturday, due to severe breathlessness and fluctuating oxygen saturation levels.
The 61 year old star was tested for the coronavirus during his visit and tested negative, before being released. That evening he took to Twitter to say “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings”.
Fans were relieved to hear he had been released from the hospital and was “doing well” but shortly after this rumours arose that the actor had been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. The actor then wrote a short statement on Twitter saying, “I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment”. Dutt is due to fly to the United States where he will be seeking medical treatment for his cancer.
Staff at the hospital confirmed that Sanjay’s oxygen saturation levels were very low and a source said, “Fluid had accumulated in his lungs because of that he was having breathing trouble.” The source went on to say that “Doctors said it could be tuberculosis or cancer.” Following reports on Wednesday, sources from the hospital have said that Sanjay is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer however his doctor is yet to make a comment.
We hope the actor makes a fast recovery.
