Ended season 1 on truly high note surely waiting for 2nd season now. #BardOfBloodReview"

A few others found it predictable but still praised the show and its performances.
Aritra Saha (@aritrasaha_03) tweeted, “#BardOfBlood Esp the direction, action sequences and the locations, even though few of the scenes were predictable. But nonetheless, BOB is intense, gripping and ends on a high note, with so many questions unanswered.  PS: @ItsViineetKumar's performance was the best.

The show ended on a cliffhanger, like all its episodes. Fans of the show are already demanding a second season. Banna. (@iJaideep_) wrote, “Dear @NetflixIndia @RedChilliesEnt That last minute suspense was Masterclass, Will makes everyone into shock - Please release Season 2 Asap.. @emraanhashmi Why so talented Sir, Your best thrilling performance till now.. Kudos! #BardOfBlood."

Some viewers were however not too happy. Ashu (@ashu048) said, “Netflix was churning out some fine content and then SRK decided to produce a series #BardOfBlood."

Imran Jan (@Imran_Jan) felt the show was anti-Pakistan. He wrote, “So Shahrukh Khan makes an anti Pakistan Netflix film and Pakistanis love Shahrukh Khan? How shameful? What kind of immature people watch Indian movies anyway? #BardOfBlood"

Some fans compared it with Amazon Prime’s Show The Family Man. Shah Rukh Premi (@srkpremi) tweeted, “#BardOfBlood is an entertainer. Totally BINGE IT this weekend. The series that matches the quality of international ones. Amazing work again @NetflixIndia ! Much better than family man. Could have waited for this one. Love this. The action, intense scenes and so much more. Wow!”

Ravish Mani (@ravishmani) also compared the two shows, sharing his review on Twitter, "#BardOfBlood or #TheFamilyMan? Both are the stories of spies but with different themes & treatments. Each has its own USP. My personal favourite is BARD because it fulfills my expectations. In other words, it delivers what it promises. It's simple & focused #BardOfBloodReview. On the other hand, #TheFamilyMan raises my expectations very high but, unfortunately, doesn't fulfill it. Though I like it but not for the reasons it was sold to me. It's more a political satire than a struggle between one's personal & professional life as told in promotions,” he added.
