Actor Mithun Chakraborty is suffering from immense back pain and that has forced him to stay away from Bollywood for a while. This has been confirmed by Mithun Chakraborty's son, Namashi Chakraborty. According to sources, Mithun had previously suffered a slipped disc which made shooting difficult for him, yet he continued the shooting of the films because he had to meet deadlines.
It was reported that Mithun Chakraborty also went to New York for physiological therapy. After sometime, the pain returned which forced him to look for other alternative forms for treatment. That is when someone suggested to Mithun that he try the famous Ayurvedic treatment in Kerala as an alternative. Mithun subsequently took admission into one of the Ayurvedic hospitals in Kerala and has been under treatment for several months now.
His son Namashi confirmed that the treatment programmes have been effective and he is getting better very fast. “Whenever dad travels to Los Angeles, people assume he is sick. He is currently in Kerala undergoing therapy for his back and will be in Mumbai... 90 percent of the pain is gone, and he is now waiting to return to work,” Namashi told Pune Mirror in an interview.
Mithun's upcoming film is Tashkent Files which releases this Friday, on the 12th of April, 2018. He plays an aggressive politician in the film.
