Akshay Kumar’s latest film “Mission Mangal” has seen tremendous growth since its release last Thursday. The film managed to make Rs 28.5 crore on its first day, which is being considered as the highest opening number for any Akshay Kumar film. According to analysts, the film’s numbers can be partly credited to the fact that it released on the same day as Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. “The film did well in city multiplexes, through good word of mouth. The collection was also helped by the fact that Thursday was a national holiday (73rd Independence Day) and a major festival (Raksha Bandhan),” said a Box Office India report.
On its third day in theatres, “Mission Mangal” enjoyed a huge growth in collection numbers, leading to the film current total box office collection to be sitting at approximately Rs 69 crore and rising. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to relay the figures for “Mission Mangal” earlier today. “#MissionMangal witnesses superb growth on Day 3...
