Here’s we go again!
After targeting Alia Bhatt and her family, you would think Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel would take a break but she has jumped into yet another controversy.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Kangana’s film Mental Hai Kya in which she co-stars with Rajkummar Rao is scheduled for release on the same day as Hrithik Roshan’s film Super 30.
As soon as the news surfaced the internet, predictably, the media went berserk with the eventuality of yet another showdown between alleged ex-flames. The two parted ways on not-so-healthy terms and the war between the two, is still dominating new headlines.
The duo had much to say about each other. While Hrithik denied his involvement with Kangana romantically, the Manikarnika actress went hammer and tongs against the actor, who she alleged dated her in the past.
Speaking about the films clashing, Rangoli Chandel, who does not seem to let anyone steal the spotlight of her sister and Bollywood actress, took to her Twitter handle to issue an upfront warning to Hrithik Roshan. In the post, she referred to the actor as “Jadoo” and pointed out that Hrithik would “attack your back than meeting you in the field rahter”.
“What to expect from a man who always prefers to attack your back rather then meeting you in the battle field, jitna tu aur tera PR Kangana ko giraega utna he woh teri maregi.... so far it wasn’t her concern magar ab tu dekh... Jadoo”, her Tweet reads.

Preceding and post this Tweet, Rangoli shared a series of posts on her social media account targeting the actor. The Tweets were in response to Mental Hai Kya producer Ekta Kapoor, who had earlier posted a Tweet asking fans to not resort to any ugliness in the box office clash of the two films. Meanwhile, Hrithik has yet to speak on the matter.
Kangana told Ekta Kapoor not to release MHK on 26th but Ekta said its is her prerogative as a producer to decide the relase date, then she had a meeting with her childhood friend Hrithik and they both took this call...(contd)— Rangoli Chandel (@Rangoli_A) May 8, 2019

(Contd) just because he cant say anything to Ekta he will make Kangana a punching bag, Well!! Earlier, Kangana’s Manikarnika was supposed to clash with Hrithik’s Super 30. Both films were scheduled for release in January 2019. But as it turned out, only Kangana could stick to the release date while Hrithik was forced to move his film since work on it was not over.
However, it seems the clash between the stars can’t be avoided. On Tuesday, Ekta Kapoor had stated categorically that the shift in release date was purely a strategic decision. She said, “A lot is being reported about Mental Hai Kya clashing with another film at the box office on July 26. The shift in the release date is a decision taken after the recommendations from the distributors, trade analysts and top research team, keeping in mind the releases a week before and after this date. We have been advised to shift the release of our movie to July 26, purely for the business prospects."
Ekta further added, "On knowing, that there is already a movie scheduled for a release on that date, we did it all in our purview to ensure that there will be no mud-slinging and it will be dignified release. We stand by assuring that to all other parties.”
Both the films, Mental Hai Kya and Super 30 will now hit the theatres on July 26.
