Meghan Markle Spotted Wearing a Token of Love as She Attended US Open Final Without Prince Harry and Little Archie
The Duchess of Sussex accessorized her look with a delicate gold necklace with the initials H and A. She was pictured playing with the pendant throughout the evening.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was spotted wearing a sweet token to keep Prince Harry and little Archie close to her while she's away in the US to watch her friend and tennis champion Serena Williams play at the Women's US Open final this past weekend. As Meghan watched the match at the Arthur Ashe stadium in Queens, she accessorised her look with a delicate gold necklace with the initials H and A. She was pictured playing with the pendant, designed for her by the design house Mini Mini. Many of her followers lauded her for not spending an arm and a leg, with the piece of jewellery retailing at £125.
The neck piece featured two tiny diamonds and is 14-karat gold. She teamed it with a laidback denim dress and a cream-coloured jacket draped over her shoulders. It's not the first time Meghan has paid tribute to Archie through her jewellery. In July she wore a necklace with the uppercase letter A as she made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon. According to reports, the precious necklace by Jennifer Meyer retails at £278.
Meghan was cheering and full of smiles as she greeted fans yesterday. A source previously said, "It is a last-minute trip. It was not planned at all. Harry was busy with other commitments. Meghan is excited to support her friend, and then come back." She decided to head to the match after Serena reached the quarter-final stage of the tournament. Meghan boarded the aircraft alongside her security just seven hours after the end of Serena's match but it is not known which airline or which airport she flew out from. Meghan was then seen heading to Modo Yoga in downtown Manhattan with a friend on Friday, just hours after she completed the trans-Atlantic journey. She was joined by 60 other women for the class at the eco-conscious studio which specialises in hot yoga.
