Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the premiere of Lion King European in London at Odon Theatre. This year it is particularly important as The Walt Disney Company has started an active campaign to conserve the dying lion population in Africa. In this lieu, Disney has also made a donation to Prince Harry’s environment and community initiative. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a great association with Africa. This event was also important for Meghan Markle because this was the first Hollywood premiere she attended as a royal. Being a Hollywood actor in the past, this premiere must have brought fond memories to her mind.
Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry looked colour coordinated with black being their main theme. Meghan Markle wore a knee length black dress with sheer sleeves and upper body. She accessorized the dress with black pencil heels (Swarovski crystal details) and a black clutch(golden details). The dress was designed by Jason Wu. The couple seemed happy and very much in love which is unlike their former appearances. Prince Harry could be seen beaming and smiling at his wife. Another highlight of the event was the couple meeting Beyonce and her husband Jay Z. One power couple meeting another melted their fans’ hearts.
This was Meghan Markle’s third appearance this week. Although she is apparently still on maternity leave, the royal has made public appearances every now and then. Her most recent appearance was at Wimbledon Ladies Singles Final with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her sister Pippa Middleton. Meghan Markle has been in the news since she got married for one controversy after another. The most recent is from the Wimbledon where the royal protocol officer stopped a fan from clicking the Duchess’s pictures. She was also criticized for not following the Wimbledon protocol and dressing in jeans.
